Sunshine

These photographs were taken at the end of September 2012.  It seems like yesterday that these sun beauties were glistening and inviting.  I have missed you all and hope you enjoy!

Polydamas Swallowtail

I hope you enjoy these pictures.  This was a very challenging butterfly to capture.  They flutter their wings so fast it can be difficult to capture.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Melon

I took this picture that is located close to Hollis Garden and Lake Mirror outside a restaurant called, The Garden Bistro. They have several different varieties of roses that are gorgeous. This one is perfect for Summer! I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by!

Diana, Princess of Wales

Before we knew the names of these lovely flowers, they reminded me of flowers made from icing that you would transfer onto a cake.  So lovely.  These were taken right outside a restaurant called the Garden Bistro, downtown Lakeland, Florida.

I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by.

Orange Stars

I have googled for the last week or so to find out the proper name for this beauty with no luck. If anyone knows, please feel free to respond. Love these orange stars! I hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by!

Thanksgiving

The colors of this flower remind me of Thanksgiving and the Autumn season. Although, in America we set aside one day to acknowledge it, I am constantly reminded to be grateful and give thanks daily. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for stopping by!

I hope you enjoy these pictures of this Monarch butterfly I was so fortunate to capture at Hollis Garden in Lakeland, FL.  Monarch butterflies are my favorite.  You can distinguish a monarch from a viceroy by the two black dots on the lower wing and the lighter underside.  I must admit it was definitely challenging and took quite a bit of time.  Thank you for viewing and stopping by.
