This is my selection for today’s Sunday Post: Simplicity.
To join the challenge: Jake Sprinter’s–Sunday Post: Simplicity
These photographs were taken at the end of September 2012. It seems like yesterday that these sun beauties were glistening and inviting. I have missed you all and hope you enjoy!
I hope you enjoy these pictures of this Monarch butterfly I was so fortunate to capture at Hollis Garden in Lakeland, FL. Monarch butterflies are my favorite. You can distinguish a monarch from a viceroy by the two black dots on the lower wing and the lighter underside. I must admit it was definitely challenging and took quite a bit of time. Thank you for viewing and stopping by.
This is a Heron that I captured at Lake Mirror in Lakeland, FL. It seemed to be meditating and enjoying the moment of serenity. I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
I hope you enjoy these gorgeous flowers that I am entering for this week’s photo challenge: purple. You can find out more about the Weekly Photo Challenges here.
Spicebush Swallowtail: Photo taken in Lakeland, FL in July 2012. My heart was beating what seemed a million miles per second when I saw this raving beauty fluttering around without a care in the world. It seems a butterflies job is to create beauty in the world, and if you really observe, to make us humans realize how free we really are. It’s the internal freedom that I strive for! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thank you for stopping by!
