Last Breath

My husband and I decided to visit a new park in the town that I live in now, Lakeland, FL. It was hot and the humidity was high. We were on our way to the car and came across two trees with dying magnolias. The way the sun was shining caught my eye. I snapped a couple of photo’s and this it what I got. My husband said it reminded him of a “Last Breath.” I hope you enjoy this and thank you so much for stopping by.

FREEDOM

Spicebush Swallowtail: Photo taken in Lakeland, FL in July 2012. My heart was beating what seemed a million miles per second when I saw this raving beauty fluttering around without a care in the world. It seems a butterflies job is to create beauty in the world, and if you really observe, to make us humans realize how free we really are.  It’s the internal freedom that I strive for!  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thank you for stopping by!

Angel Trumpets

We were leaving the garden and I spotted these Angel Trumpets on the way out. I had to turn around and drive back to get a shot or two. So gorgeous. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for stopping by!

Lovely

I hope you enjoy these lovely purple, red, and white, 5-petal beauties. I have searched the web for the proper name and was unsuccessful. I do not have much of a green thumb. If you know the name of these mystery beauties, please feel free to comment.

Confidence

Taken in Tampa, FL. I was walking and saw this flower bush. It stopped me in my tracks for a few minutes. Mother Nature has that affect on me. 😉 I have always considered shades of red the color of confidence.
