Long Overdue

Hello Everyone,

In the past couple of months I have received a few awards that I am forever grateful to receive.  Due to time limitations, I had decided to be an award-free blog.  My nature, however, is when you receive something you give it back.  So the award-free blog isn’t working out that well 🙂  I want to thank Eunice at www.nutsfortreasure.com and Nizy at www.nackynice.wordpress.com for nominating my blog again for the Lovely Blog Award.  I also would like to thank Ivon at www.ivonprefontaine.wordpress.com for nominating me with the Reality Blog Award.  I am lucky to have connected with these three wonderful people.  It has been my pleasure.

These are five questions that Ivon passed on for the Reality Blog Award and that I have decided to answer for both awards:

1) If you could change something what would you change?

I would’ve never put down my camera.

2) If you could repeat an age, what age would it be?

22-23

3) What one thing really scares you?

Not living up to my full potential/giving enough to others

4) What one dream have you not completed yet and do you think you will be able to complete it.

Start my own web site/business selling my photograph’s.  Yes, I know I will be able to complete it.

5) If you could be someone else for the day, who would you be?

I would be interested in being Mother Teresa in the past and Eckhart Tolle in the present.

Sunday Post: Delicious

Here are just a few of the delicious delights I love to indulge in.  I love natural foods for their extraordinary flavors.  Lemon-lime water quenches my thirst in an instant.  Definitely a necessity living in Florida.

Brown rice with veggies and shrimp is a weekly staple in my house.  It is a healthy meal full of flavor and deliciousness!  For lunch is normally a green salad topped with EVOO and dessert some fruit.

Thanks to one of my husbands co-worker’s we discovered Mangos last year.  I have been hooked ever since.  When they are in season I eat a few per week.  As you can see above, we enjoy sharing them as a snack together.  Last but not least, when watermelon season roles around I am in heaven!

Unique

I think this duck is beautiful.  When I spotted this duck I was in awe.  This was the first time I have laid my eyes on a duck with this type of unique marking.  Simply beautiful.  I hope you enjoy.

I also wanted to thank all of my supporters.  I noticed that I have had close to 1500 likes!  Personally, I do not aim for likes but must admit, it sure feels good to know that my photograph’s affect so many of you.  Thank you all so very much!!  With gratitude 🙂

Peaceful

 

I have been editing this picture for sometime.  The original was taken in color and I converted to B&W.  When I took the picture, I felt peaceful and felt the B&W depicts how I felt better than the color image.  I hope you enjoy!  Thank you for stopping by!
