Mysterious
When I took this photograph the first word that came to mind was mystery. I felt this even more when I was processing. I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
Weekly Photo Challenge: Urban
The theme for this Week’s Photo Challenge is: Urban. My husband and I just moved to Lakeland, Florida in March after living in Tampa, Florida for the past 9 years. We are both originally from the lovely State of Maine. I already love Lakeland. Although, it is a bigger town/city, downtown isn’t that big compared to the Tampa Bay area. From what I have seen so far, downtown Lakeland, has both its busy and serene moments. I hope you enjoy my vision of this Week’s Photo Challenge: Urban. Sunday Post: From a Distance
This weeks entry for the Sunday Post was taken downtown Lakeland, Florida. I saw this gentleman riding his bike across the street from where I was standing. It appears from the picture that he might be homeless and possibly a former member of the United States Military. To enjoy more entries or participate, click here! Thanks for viewing and stopping by!
Diana, Princess of Wales
Before we knew the names of these lovely flowers, they reminded me of flowers made from icing that you would transfer onto a cake. So lovely. These were taken right outside a restaurant called the Garden Bistro, downtown Lakeland, Florida.
Sunday Post: Black & White
I have to say that Black & White Photography is my all time favorite. Ansel Adams is my favorite black and white photographer. If you are not familiar with his work, google him or stop by a local bookstore. For this post, I am including one of my black and white digital shots. I have quite a few black and white film shots that I have not taken the time to upload that I know you would all enjoy seeing. For more information about the Jake Sprinter, Sunday Post and the Black and White challenge, click here!
Weekly Photo Challenge – Merge
When I was younger I loved making/creating collages. I would sit for hours cutting out all of my favorite pictures and quotes from newspapers and magazines and then arrange them on a piece of construction paper or poster board. This weeks photo challenge – merged brought that memory back. The first thing I thought of was a collage. I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Orange Stars
I have googled for the last week or so to find out the proper name for this beauty with no luck. If anyone knows, please feel free to respond. Love these orange stars! I hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by!
Thanksgiving
The colors of this flower remind me of Thanksgiving and the Autumn season. Although, in America we set aside one day to acknowledge it, I am constantly reminded to be grateful and give thanks daily. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for stopping by!
